Within the last year, Brown Sugar Promotions LLC in collaboration with Independent Grrl Recordings and Catch 22 Productions, Ahsek Novel has released her own spoken word tracks that feature some of her poems from The Butterfly Experience, The Passion Fruit Syndrome and The Corset…

“As a Spoken Word artist, I write my own lyrics and as a writer/poet I also write my own material so either way, it’s me expressing something artistically. In my case, I think it does apply when I record a track that consist of one of my poems that was previously published or if I decide to record an entire book such as The Butterfly Experience vol1 set to original music or that sample instrumentals”. says Ahsek Novel. We agree. As a publishing company, Brown Sugar Promotions LLC has not released any audio books to date however we do market and promote for retailers such as Amazon.com and Audible, Audible UK who have access to tons of digital catalogs and sale recorded books (audio books) specifically. As an affiliate we generally feature posts or advertisement space via our sites similar to these best selling paperback titles. 

In 2014, there is definitely a market for recorded books from New York Times best sellers to blockbuster movies such as Dan Brown’s Inferno and E L James’s Fifty Shades of Grey (which is set to hit theaters in 2015). More and more authors including international who are opting to for eBook and audio book versions of their titles to compete for publishing and to boost sales.
